I’m so happy you liked it! I love that you added peanut butter to the cream cheese. I just posted a peanut butter version of this dessert a few weeks ago. If you don’t have the peanut flour for the crust, use this on or the crust from the coconut version. I made a peanut butter pastry cream/pudding for that one. So Good! Good question. There is no doubt that grass fed, free range, organic is best but it is simply out of the price range of so many. What is more important to start with is to eat real whole food as best as you can find. I certainly don’t buy organic all the time. Do what you can when you can. It is more important to change from cereals to eggs rather then getting hung up on a perfect source of egg. Take a look at my food brands page. It needs updating as I change brands all the time as I find better ones, but is helpful. I really try and make this as easy on ourselves as we can. We shouldn’t need a degree in nutrition to eat well. Some sites complicate things far too much. My motto is “do the best you can as often as you can”. I agree, labels are pretty poor and not standardised (net vs total carbs for example). Good luck 🙂

I like this chocolate very much. There is no taste difference between their sugarless chocolate and chocolate with sugar. I gave this product only 4 stars on account of one problem that I have experienced. Sometimes the chocolate I have received has been exposed to excessive heat and has turned white. As any chocolate lover knows, the taste of such heat damaged chocolate his horrid. If I point this out soon enough after receiving the shipment they make good with a new shipment. Once I only discovered the issue several months after the purchase and they declined to send me a replacement shipment. So, what I do now is go through each box I order and check a few bars to see if there is heat damage.

Hi Cyn, The numbers are general guidelines but will vary depending on many factors, such as activity level, insulin resistance, weight and more. There is no single magic number, just conventional recommendations that are a good starting point. I will have a macro calculator coming soon that will help determine what is best for each person, but even then it’s an approximation. The only way to know for sure is to test. If keto is your goal, it’s usually best to start lower and then see if you can stay in ketosis when increasing.
Hi Stephanie. First, if the chocolate pudding isn’t SUPER thick tomorrow after it sets, then don’t add the almond milk. Keep it as is. You can use a mini food processor, large food processor or even a blender (this will be a slower process) instead of a coffee grinder. BTW, I use my coffee grinder for spices, nuts, seeds, and coconut all of the time. It has been more than worth it’s price and I’ve had it for at least 15 years. If you don’t have any of these appliances, you can chop finely by hand. The texture will be a little more coarse, but should be fine. Let me know if you have any more questions. A powdered sweetener works best. Granular would be the next best thing – everything would still come together the same way, but you might taste the granules if they don’t fully dissolve, so it wouldn’t be as smooth. I don’t think liquid sweeteners like honey, agave, or maple syrup would work, because they’d add extra liquid and would require consistency adjustments for the other ingredients. (You can try, I’m just not sure about the results.)
Hi Gigi, Low carb and keto is about the balance of macronutrients eaten (fat, protein and carbs), not specifically meat or lack thereof. Most people on keto do eat meat, though some people do vegetarian keto. Fat is actually necessary for many body processes. There is no issue for the kidneys with a high fat diet, but if you eat too much protein that isn’t great for the kidneys. It’s a common misconception that keto is high protein (it isn’t). Keto is great for diabetics as it naturally helps stabilize insulin. All of this being said, please know I’m not a doctor and you should consult your doctor on any medical questions or before starting any diet. Take it from one who knows; hunger can really make sticking to a healthy diet difficult. Once hunger strikes, your brain goes into hunter/gatherer mode and can cause you to seek out and chow down on the nearest convenient source of calories. Inevitably, this won’t be anything that’s good for you and will very likely be one of those foods linked directly to spiking your insulin – donuts and candy for example. As you know by now, eating lots of sugar does nothing good for your health and will cause you to gain weight fast. Not only that, sugar doesn’t fill you up and can even make you hungrier – so much for that satisfying snack! All my favorite sugar free snacks recipes here.

Example 2: Last year, during the middle of Sugar Free January, Bjork and I went on vacation to Hawaii. This time I had decided to take a more flexible approach, so I drank lots of (very sweet) fresh fruit juice, and I had a Coke on the beach, and we split one dessert together. I was aware of what I was eating, and while it made coming back to sugar free eating a little more difficult, it didn’t derail my Sugar Free January experience. It was just a different, more flexible approach.
Those familiar with Pinkaew's martial arts extravaganzas with Ong Bak and Tom Yum Goong, will know roughly what to expect from Chocolate. Since the rumoured falling out with his main star of those movies, there's definitely some big shoes to fill, and Yanin fills them quite nicely, martial arts wise, though there were certain scenes which were quite clear that she's still a diamond in the rough with many edges left to polish. But that's not to put down her effort, except that I thought as a lady, her final delivery of those choreographed punches and kicks lacked some really hard hitting edge to them, and the curious observation that some required some speeding up, was left to be desired. What could also be improved, is the transitions between fights, because each seemed pretty much stand alone, even though you know that she's supposedly to be battling enemies continuously, but with each combatant, there seemed to be a "reset" to on-guard mode.
I too found this recipe to be very, very bitter. In fact, I had to spit it out. I am use to the taste and baking with stevia. I used KAL brand pure stevia and Sweet Leaf liquid stevia. I wonder if the 1 1/2 Tablespoons is just too much. I felt as thought my Dagoba chocolate was wasted. Wanting to save the product, I reheated it, added homemade sweetened condensed coconut milk and homemade coconut milk caramel sauce and some yacon syurp. I then added some roasted salted cashews. I put it on a cookie sheet, spread it out, sprinkled on some Enjoy Life mini chips and put it in the refrigerator. Two hours later I took a taste and found it to be much less bitter and something I will be able to eat. I will probably try your recipe again using only the brand products you used, but with the cost of them, I will use much less powdered stevia. Thanks for all you do to provide sugar free recipes to all of us.
But what was learned from the earlier two Thai action movies, was that it was no longer necessary to repeat the action from different camera angles. This would stem from confidence in showing off the stunts from a single viewpoint, and not feel sore from not being able to cover it from multiple angles. And Chocolate had some really nice buildup in the complexity of these set action pieces. It teases with what's over the horizon starting from a few thugs at a street performance, and sets up carefully crafted action sequences for our heroine to flit from one to another, each being an excuse to dispatch goon after goon coming at her.
Oh how I wish I had read the comments before I attempted this.. brand new spring form leaked considerably while I was out of the kitchen.. house filled with smoke, etc. had to pull the cake out of fhe oven half way through..clean the oven etc By the time it went back in the oven it didn’t have a chance and had already sunken in. I'm giving this candy only a 'fair' rating because in spite of being called 'DiabeticFriendly', it spiked my blood glucose up 40 points. I am very careful to check my blood glucose levels after eating anything new (especially anything sweet) because I manage my diabetes with diet alone. These chocolates taste great, look beautiful, arrived before the estimated delivery date and were beautifully presented. However, two pieces spiked my blood glucose as much or more as a regular candy bar would have. Your mileage may vary.... use caution!

A keto diet shifts your body’s fuel-burning engine from one that relies on carbs for energy to one that incinerates fat. Hi. I tried making the zucchini tortillas for the first time this week. They did cook and sort of brown, but they did not look as golden color as the ones in your picture. Also, the inside did not seem to cook as much and was still like the batter. So the outside was dry and cooked but the inside was mostly uncooked. Where did I go wrong? I want to try it again!
